The Hoso Bunka Foundation welcomes applications for its Grants with proposals for researches, projects and events related to Broadcasting that contribute to the advancement of broadcasting and broadcasting culture. The HBF looks for proposals with a creative and original point of view by individuals or organizations.

The HBF grant is NOT provided for any project which is only aimed at producing films, broadcast programmes or scholarship. The categories of the grants are studies, researches and other projects closely related to broadcasting culture.

Acceptance of applications for the 2014/2015 Grant Cycle was closed on August 31, 2014.

•ABU Drama Workshop
With an assistance grant from the HBF, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) has held a workshop this year on “The production of high quality and attractive dramas.”
