Assistance Grants

The Hoso Bunka Foundation welcomes applications for its Assistance Grants with proposals for research, projects and events related to Broadcasting that contribute to the advancement of broadcasting and broadcasting culture. The HBF looks for proposals with a creative and original point of view.

The HBF grant is NOT provided for any project which is only aimed at producing films, broadcast programmes or scholarship. The categories of the grants are studies, researches and other projects closely related to broadcasting culture.

How to apply

The 2010 version of the Prescribed Application Form is available upon request from the Secretariat of the HBF.
Applications will be accepted during a period between 14 June and 13 August, 2010.
Selected projects from abroad
Proposals to be offered assistance in the 2009/2010 grant cycle have been decided.

•ABU Drama Workshop
With an assistance grant from the HBF, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) has held a workshop this year on “The production of high quality and attractive dramas.”
