The ABU’s annual meetings was held in Tokyo, hosted by Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK from Oct. 15 to 20.
More than 400 people took part in the 47th General Assembly and a range of meetings covering technical, programme, sports and other areas.
HBF General Managing Director, Susumu Tanimura attended the programme committee held on Oct 15.
In his speech, Mr. Tanimura said HBF wished to make a continuous contribution to the growth and development of broadcasting culture in the Asian region, by providing the ABU with the assistance grants and sponsoring its program competitions.
